“Our self-image, strongly held, essentially determines what we become.”
– Maxwell Maltz
We love learning about sustainability, it’s a fascinating subject but it’s often presented in a way that makes it seem dry, dull and worthy. That’s why we make sure our workshops and training sessions are engaging, fun and stimulating. We provide a range of sustainability workshops aimed at all levels of your organisation from C-level executives to employees and consultants. As the saying goes, ‘we all row the boat’ and your business is only as good as its people. It’s critical to sustainable prosperity that everyone in your organisation understands the what, why and how of being a sustainable business. It’s also a great way to enhance team spirit and moral. Examples of the workshops we offer include, but are not limited to:
• The global context for sustainability
• An introduction to sustainable business
• Sustainability challenges and opportunities
• 10 steps to business sustainability
A introduction to sustainable business
Let's start from the beginning. What is sustainable business, why is it getting talked about, and what does it have to do with climate change? As well we discuss how it effects everyone in your organisation both as individuals and as a business.
Sustainability challenges and opportunities
The global state, what needs to change, and how to bridge the sustainability gap through rewiring the economy.
The business case and leadership for action
Why sustainability is good for business, and the importance of good leadership in achieving change.
The 10 steps to sustainable business
'Rewiring the Economy' is the '10 tasks in 10 years' plan to lay the foundations for a sustainable economy. Developed by the Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership (CISL), it is built on ten interconnected tasks, delivered by leaders across business, government and finance. In this workshop, we overview the how and why of Rewiring the Economy.
Understanding the business case for sustainability
So you want to be greener and help the planet but you also need to make money to survive as a business. We understand where you're coming from, which is why in this workshop, we'll teach you how to thrive sustainably - more than you would if you stick with outdated 'business as usual' models
SDGs 1: The Global Goals: How business can be a force for positive change
The United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (aka Global Goals), agreed by world leaders in 2015, set out a framework to classify the most urgent social, economic and environmental challenges facing the world. The SDGs form the global agenda for the development of our societies, they allow leading companies to demonstrate how their business helps to advance sustainable development, both by minimizing negative impacts and maximizing positive impacts on people and the planet. Let us host this workshop at your workplace, or online, so everyone in your organisation understands the SDGs and what they mean to your business and the world.
SDGs 2: Use the Sustainable Development Goals to transform your business
Now that you understand the SDGs, we look at how they can be used specifically for your organisation. Be inspired to take on the challenge and engage in transformational partnerships that solve systemic problems.
